Dr. William R. Stripling Scholarship

 

Applications for the SGA Dr. William R. Stripling Scholarship in the amount of $500, to be awarded for the year 2008-2009, are now available in the Student Government Office located in the Student Union. The deadline for the application and all supporting documents are to be received in the office no later than 5 p.m. on Friday April 3rd, 2009.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5

• Must have completed 60 hours by the end of Spring 2009

• Demonstrate leadership qualities.

• Undergraduate or Graduate.

• Cannot be an officer/staff member on the SGA.

 

 

Dr. Mary Lynn Williamson Scholarship

 

Applications for the SGA Dr. Mary Lynn Williamson Scholarship in the amount of $500, to be awarded for the year 2008-2009, are now available in the Student Government Office located in the Student Union. SGA International Student Scholarship Application

 

Applications for the SGA International Student Scholarship in the amount of $500, to be awarded for the year 2008-2009, are now available in the Student Government Office located in the Student Union. The deadline for the application and all supporting documents are to be received in the office no later than 5 p.m. on Friday April 3rd, 2009.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

• Must have completed 30 hours by the end of Spring 2009

• Demonstrate leadership qualities

• Undergraduate

• Cannot be an officer/staff member on the SGA.

 

 

Lieutenant Colonel Barney Smith Award for Professor of the Year

 

Lieutenant Colonel Barney Smith was a professor in the Military Science department that
passes away. His service is honored through this award each year.
 

 

You Made a Difference: Advisor Award

 

This student nominated award is for an outstanding advisor who goes above and beyond in there advising. May be they are the person who really challenges you or just there to help with things other than what classes to take. This award is co-sponsored by SGA and the Wilson Advising Center.

 

Nominations are due by 5pm on November 5th, 2008.
